Spring 2007 Women's Designer Shoe Update!

Designer Shoe News

Spring 2007 looks to be as exciting as ever.

  • Ballet flats continue to be a must-have for the up-coming spring. Whether open toe or closed, the choices this spring are endless. The classic ballet flat from French Sole, finsished in quilted leather with patent tips, can be worn day and night. All over patent flats whether black patent, white patent, navy patent, red patent and other fun colors are
    prevalent in lines such as
Stuart Weitzman, French Sole, ToryBurch, Michael by Michael Kors, and many more. Ornamented flats add that special something to any outfit. Tory Burch leads the way with their classic “Reva” ballet. Jeffrey Campbell has these ornamented ballet shoes in his collection as well!

  • Platforms continue to be strong this spring. Stuart Weitzman makes them
look super with patent uppers including tortoise patent. Michael
by Michael Kors and Loeffler Randall also support the platform
theme and they did their versions in strips of patent and satins.
Whether open toe or closed, the platform can by worn with anything
from skirts, dresses, jeans, or pants.

  • Another big trend for spring 2007 in the designer shoe world is patent
    leather shoes
, patent leather shoes, and more patent leather
shoes! They brighten every woman’s closet. Patent leather
flats, low heel, mid heel, and high heel pumps all look good in
patent leather whether round toe or tapered, open or closed. Check
    out the gorgeous
Marc by Marc Jacobs open toe patent leather pumps. Wow!

  • Wedges done low or high look great with patent uppers as well. Espadrilles
are always popular and loved by most women. Kors by Michael Kors,
    Stuart Weitzman,
Eric Michael, Andre Assous, Marc by Marc Jacobs, just to name a few have them in their designer shoe line for spring.

  • Shoes this spring also look great done in all kinds of textures. Snake adds a sophisticated touch to flats from Tory Burch and Stuart Weitzman, to name a couple.
